Sprouts Full Day Two's

 

Our Sprouts class is designed for children who are two in September. It starts at 9:00 AM and runs through 3:30 PM. Parents can choose between a M-F, M-W-F, or T/TH schedule.

The ratio is 5:1 with 10 children and 2 teachers in the room

An AM and PM snack are provided, lunch must be brought from home.

Philosophy & Beliefs 

We believe in terrific twos! 

We understand that being two can be hard, but we also know how wonderful it is. Two-year-olds are growing and developing so much language, self-image, and a strong sense of independence. We nurture and support that growth by providing a rich open-ended environment where play and discovery are facilitated by knowledgable early educators who "get" this unique stage of development.

Music, movement, language, literacy, art, science,math, dramatic play, self-help skills, and MORE are explored daily in our child-centered place-based environment.

What To Bring To School 

• A lunch (we cool and heat lunches) * DELC provides milk for meals 

• A fitted crib sheet 

• A small blanket 

• A small pillow

• 2 full sets of clothes 

• Health Inventory Forms 

• A supply of diapers and wipes 

• Water bottle

• Family photo 

• Lovey (special stuffed toy if needed)

• Appropriate weather gear for outdoor play 

 

Other Reminders 

• Dress for the weather, we go outside (send shoes daily) 

• Label ALL of your child’s items, including individual food containers, shoes, underwear, etc. 

• Sign your child in and out each day
